We deployed the H3C S6550XE-HI as an aggregation switch in our enterprise campus network, and it has delivered solid, reliable performance overall. The 48x10GBASE-T ports and 8x25G/100G QSFP28 uplinks provide excellent high-density connectivity for our office and server access needs, with low latency and stable 24/7 operation. IRF2 and M-LAG support simplified our network management and boosted reliability, which is a huge plus for our IT team.
The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is that the initial setup of advanced features like VxLAN required a bit of extra configuration time, and the web GUI could be more intuitive for first-time users. That said, once configured, the switch runs flawlessly, and H3C’s technical support was helpful when we had questions.
Overall, it’s a high-performance, enterprise-grade switch that offers great value for the price, and we’d recommend it to other businesses looking for a reliable 10G/25G/100G aggregation solution.
